TOPIC: “Standards in Play for Indoor Air Quality in Office Environments”

Indoor Air Quality problems are a matter of increasing concern for employers.  As Safety Professionals, the first place we look for guidance are the OSHA regulations, but we soon find out that we need to dig deeper into the tool kit.  This presentation will provide an overview of both regulatory and best practice standards from OSHAs 3430-04 2011 Indoor Air Quality in Commercial and Institutional Building through ANSI/ASHREA 62.1-2016 Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality and even the more obscure maintenance and materials standards.  We will also discuss regulatory and policy impact of trends such as cannabis and ‘E-cigarettes’.

Pete presented this topic at the 2019 ASSP PDC in New Orleans, LA back in June and it was a hit.
