ELECTRICAL SAFETY

ELECTRICITY HAS THE POWER TO KILL

Brian Hall; President, BCH Electrical Consulting
March 18, 2021;
10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The rapid expansion in electrical technology in the late nineteenth century enabled electrical engineers to apply the practical application for electricity to industrial and residential use.  The growth of this new energy source transformed industry and society, becoming a driving force for the Second Industrial Revolution.  Electricity’s extraordinary versatility means it can be put to an almost limitless set of applications.  Electrical power is now the backbone of modern industrial society.

Every year countless workers are injured on the job due to direct or indirect contact with electricity.  Brian Hall will explain how to identify common workplace electrical hazards and provide workers with some work practices needed to keep themselves safe when working near electrical hazards.

Brian Hall is certified by the National Fire Protection Association as an Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP).  Brian has over 10 years of experience teaching safety protocols at the highest level of effectiveness to hundreds of participants in industrial, commercial, and institutional organizations. Brian is the President of BCH Electrical Consulting.
