Our host, Jennifer Brown, will give us some perspective on managing EHS at this vast facility, followed by a tour of the operations.

Time:           Lunch – 11:30 a.m. Plant tour follows lunch.

Cost:           Members – $12;  Non-members – $15; Student and Emeritus Members – $6

Whirlpool Corporation – Clyde Operations is the proud manufacturer of “Made in the U.S.A.” top-load and front-load washing machines. The largest manufacturer of washing machines in the world, brands such as Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore, and KitchenAid are manufactured by more than 3,000 employees within the 1.6 million square feet facility.

Special requirements for this meeting:

• Steel-toed shoes required.
• Safety glasses with sideshields and hearing protection is required within the facility.
• No video recording or photography is allowed.
• Use of electronic devices is prohibited within the facility.
