Objects on display range from workers’ tools and clothing to hundreds of photographs, some more than 30 feet long. Life-sized scenes—including a mill’s locker room, part of a company-built house, and a blooming mill, where steel ingots were shaped for further processing.

“Industrial Hygiene 101”

Presented By:  Tom Kelly, CSP – Industrial Hygienist, OH BWC

Tom will discuss the importance of industrial hygiene as an element of a company’s overall safety process. He will describe the process of health hazard recognition in the workplace as well as common chemical exposure controls and required written programs.

Tom Kelly has been an Industrial Safety Hygienist with BWC for 20 years. Prior to joining BWC, Tom held safety management positions in manufacturing, consulting and construction and also served 5 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force.

The event qualifies for the BWC Safety Council External Credit.
